As the Finance team, we are building and maintaining the processes and reporting that support vivenu’s sustainable growth. We do this with data-driven decision-making and conscious prudence, always making sure that the company’s financial health is excellent. We play a leading role in the preparation of fundraising initiatives, prepare recurring reporting for our investors, and drive our collaboration with auditors and regional service providers. Beyond that, we consult on all finance-related matters of new product features, contributing our unique expertise to the development process.

As part of the Finance team, you are building the foundation for vivenu’s growth as a market leader in the event industry, one of the most vibrant and exciting in the world. The technology organizers use is still stuck in the early 2000s. From our conversations with thousands of organizers, we know just how unhappy they are with their current solutions. With vivenu, we are building the first serious challenger to incumbent solutions in decades, based on the principles of empowerment, independence, and openness – and a best-in-class technology stack that enables organizers around the world to do more, faster, build their own solutions on top of the vivenu API, and achieve true autonomy.

Keep growing As vivenu grows across jurisdictions and feature lines, you need to rapidly become an expert on many topics: From assessing the tax regime in a potential expansion country to consulting with the product team on the implementation of a BNPL feature, you are constantly expanding your knowledge to solve new, exciting challenges.

To perform our duties to the high standards set by ourselves and our shareholders, the Finance team and its processes need to function like a well-oiled machine. By constructing and maintaining these processes, Finance delivers outstanding results across reporting, financial planning, and the preparation of key strategic decisions for vivenu.
What does a typical day look like?
Processes & Automation
- We are very much into tech topics.
- We are always on the hunt for tools that add to our finance tech stack and help us get closer to the goal of having all relevant information at hand when they are needed
Treasury & Corporate Finance
- We have a view on FX topics, ensure that payments are secure, standardized and to a large extent automated
- Deal with the question how our funding can be held smartly
Accounting & Taxationp
- Are responsible for the bookkeeping, deal with and solve complex accounting issues in connection with our business model, prepare single and group financial statements, disclose the annual financial statements
- Prepare and submit tax declaration
- Solve tax structuring questions
Reporting
FP&A
- Analyze many different data from within the company
- Based on data make recommendations for actions
